What I believe
Justice matters, but justice without compassion can become cruelty. Freedom matters, but freedom without responsibility is merely indulgence.
I would rather question my own convictions than follow them blindly.
Of character and conviction
What I struggle with
I sometimes mistake certainty for wisdom.
I am learning that a person can do their best and still make mistakes.
On the road to understanding
I do not believe that conviction should make us blind. If anything, the things we don't understand deserve the closest examination.
I am wandering Eorzea in pursuit of knowledge, companionship, and perhaps a little understanding of the world we inhabit.
I have never been particularly good at leaving a difficult question unanswered. Perhaps that is why the road continues to call.
